    Rob,

One of my active users, keeps having to re-apply for access, as his
account for whatever reason, keeps getting deleted by the system. He
is not on the twit list, and helps me find glitches, etc., plus is an
active message poster and doorgame user. In short, I have no problems
    with him.

I have checked all the variables to make sure his account doesn't
expire, and he logs in nearly every day...but his is the only user
account that ends up getting deleted somehow, and he has to keep
applying for access. It's obviously frustrating for both of us.

daryl, without screenshots of your system settings we can only take your word for it that you have everything setup correctly.

provide screenshots of the user's settings. and the security level you set him to.

you also didn't say how frequently he is removed from your system.
did you try giving him a perm exemption?

If/when sbbs deletes a user, it always logs the reason why. Have you check the logs?

    I haven't...but I will. I didn't think users could delete their account
on their own. Would it be in the ERROR.LOG file or elsewhere?

    on their own.

They can't, normally. But if the sysop (you) has their system configured to automatically delete accounts after a certain amount of inactivity (SCFG->System->Maximum Days of Inactivity), then sbbs can and will delete inactive accounts.

Would it be in the ERROR.LOG file or elsewhere?

It'd be in the same log output as the terminal server and event thread. Look for "DAILY: System maintenance begun" to find the log output from the sbbs daily maintenance.

I seem to be missing some log files. Where are these configured?
